Yanmorg | I've been digging up old posts on love stelliums in composite charts and their importance, but I can't find much on if they're actually absolutely necessary for a relationship to be successful. The threads on here are off topic. They start out discussing love stelliums but everyone ends up posting their own love stellium composite charts while disregarding the actual question at hand. Anyway, are love stelliums in composite necessary? And what if there's no love stellium, but all of the personal planets are strongly aspected (good and bad)? Does this add energy or a desire to work through the relarionship despite many afflictions? (I always see love stelliums being discussed, but rarely does anyone discuss a composite with many afflictions.. Maybe because these relationships don't last?) I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this. |
Ceridwen | Opinions vary on this, so I can only give you my thoughts. And no they are not absolutely neccessary nor are they a guarantee a relationship will be happy or long lasting, when they occur.

ail221 | Not really I have absolutely platonic relationships with all of the men I have so called love stelliums with. |

hypatia238 | If you have it great but yes I concur with above, is not absolutely necessary; you can have other aspects that feel just as nice or more powerful. |
theunknown | ****UNAFFLICTED love stellium is not common. Love stellium on the other hand is pretty common nothing is absolutely necessary in life or astrology, except air and food I guess |
Aquacheeka | HA! My last two relationships had them and both men became abusive! I'm going with NO! |

That's interesting.

Aubyanne | Absolutely not. They're nice, but they're hardly a make-it-or-break-it factor. |
Yanmorg | I thought so. Thanks for the replies everyone. This is why I prefer to get a personal analysis vs those cookbook definitions on Astrological aspects because a lot of it seems exaggerated and over the top. I've had love stelliums with MOST of the guys I've dated. Out of that handful, 2 I actually developed long-lasting and very strong feelings for AND out of those two guys, only one I had a love stellium with. Whenever I have a love stellium with someone, the relationship usually lacks passion which I need (Very Plutonian). A love stellium, from my experience, just feels really comfortable but sometimes, that comfort results in disinterest over time from one or both of us. |

I can relate to this.

Iced8Ace | I attract so many Capricorns square my Aries Sun due to this stellium. We always become the best of friends and I automatically like them. Our synastry is usually unremarkable. In composite, we either have the love stellium sextile Jupiter or the stellium sq Pluto. Both work for me, especially if the stellium conjuncts my Venus. It's not necessary, but I'd say it's great for friendships. |
